With Ma'am Chang Kopitiam serving the locals favourite dishes, we wanted to create a space that will reignite a sense of nostalgia - the people's love for local coffee shops or 'kopitiam'.

 

The design concept comes from our childhood memories of traditional coffee shops - half wall tiles, framed mirror signage, straight upright wooden benches. The space is interpreted into a modern kopitiam with clean lines, brightly lit interior that features several elements found in traditional coffee shops.
